Directions to Furnace Creek
Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resort is located in the heart of Death Valley National Park, approximately 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas and 275 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
Prefer to fly? Keep in mind that the Resort features a paved 3,040 ft by 70 ft, lighted airstrip, ideal for private or chartered aircraft.

From Las Vegas
- From McCarran International Airport, follow signs for I-15/I-215.
- Take I-215 West to Rainbow Boulevard.
- Take Rainbow Boulevard south to HWY 160/Blue Diamond.
- Take HWY 160/Blue Diamond west to Pahrump, NV, approximately 55 miles.
- In Pahrump, go 4 miles from first stoplight to Bell Vista Road (watch for our billboard 1 mile from intersection and note the cell phone tower on the left just prior to the turn).
- Turn left and continue 26 miles to Death Valley Junction.
- Turn right and then immediately left on CA Hwy 190.
- Drive 30 miles to Furnace Creek Inn (on right) and 31 miles to Ranch (on left).
From Los Angeles
- Take I-15 North to Baker, CA.
- Exit on Hwy. 127 North to Shoshone.
- Continue straight to Death Valley Junction and turn left on Hwy. 190.
- Drive 30 miles to Furnace Creek Inn (on right) and 31 miles to Ranch (on left).
From Northern Los Angeles
- Take Hwy 5 north to Santa Clarita.
- Take Hwy 14 north-east until 21 miles north of Mojave.
- Turn right toward Randsburg (one mile past Cantil turn-off).
- Go 21 miles (veer left at fork 12 miles in) and turn left on Hwy 395.
- Go 3 miles and turn right on Searles Station Rd.
- Go 6.5 miles and turn left on Trona Rd.
- Go 8.6 miles and turn right on Hwy 178.
- Go 46 miles and turn left on Panamint Valley Rd. (DO NOT TAKE WILDROSE - partially unpaved).
- Go 14 miles to Hwy 190 and turn right.
- Go 53 miles to Furnace Creek Inn.
From Reno
- Take Hwy 395 South.
- At Lone Pine, take Hwy 136 East, which becomes Hwy 190.
- Follow signs to Death Valley National Park.
From San Francisco/San Jose
- Take Hwy 101 to Hwy 46.
- Travel east to Hwy 99 and go south to Bakersfield.
- Take Hwy 58 East to Hwy 14.
- Take Hwy 14 northeast until 21 miles north of Mojave.
- Turn right toward Randsburg (one mile past Cantil turn-off).
- Go 21 miles (veer left at fork 12 miles in) and turn left on Hwy 395.
- Go 3 miles and turn right on Searles Station Rd.
